Panorama hill top walk

Welcome to Glanoer, our special bit of Mid-Wales. Since moving here in 2012, we’ve invested a lot of love and hard work in transforming the Barn from functional animal stalls to the cosy retreat you’ll find today.

Glanoer is situated in rolling farmland in the most sparsely populated county in Wales. The only noises you’re likely to hear are a distant farm machine, the stream outside your door, or the chatter of the huge and diverse range of bird species that call by the feeders daily.

In spring 2024, the Barn has undergone a complete refurbishment and is now a contemporary, modern and dog-friendly space for our guests, with traditional touches.

Aside from the accommodation, we’ve worked hard to create a series of garden rooms from rough pasture and neglected areas of the original farm, which we are delighted to share with our guests. We open our gardens annually for charity under the National Garden Scheme (NGS). NGS provides the opportunity to visit private gardens across much of the UK, and raises money for nursing and health charities.

We hope you’ll enjoy the peace and tranquillity of Glanoer as much as we do.
